Apples of My Eye

I love sour-apple candy. Specifically the Sour Punch Apple Straws. They pack a real ZING! But, they also happen to be a little pricey, considering I can eat them in a flash.

I also love these:

Sour Apple Rings. These are more affordable than the straws discussed above. They are less sour, and they turn into a soft consistency after being in your mouth for a bit. I love them for driving.

And occasionally, I get these from WAWA (the best convenient store ever):

They are Green Apple Straws... not sour, but sweet, for cheap, with good flavor and a licorice consistency.

Thumbs up for the "Mallo Cup"

This is my first sighting of the Mallo Cup, and it's unconventional exotic-ness has inspired me to return to this blog, which I have neglected.

I found the Mallo Cup in a Pennsylvania vending machine. It looks retro. It appeared to be like a peanutbutter cup, but with dark chocolate instead of milk and marshmellow instead of peanutbutter. And, that is what it is. But, after a few seconds upon tasting, I noted a little coconut in the chocolate too. Surely enough, coconut is in the ingredients. I am cool with that. It tasted good. I am pleased. Thumbs up!

This was first made by a company named Boyer, by a family who wanted to supplement their income during the depression. They would go door-to-door selling their candy. The website is kind of cute. The company was sold a few times, and I believe is based in Pennsylvania.
