One Time, My Parents Ate My Candy Stash And I Got Mad

Last year, my parents dropped me off to catch a flight to Korea to teach. It was just before Christmas, and I bought a few bags of these 2 kinds of mint chocolate that Hershey's puts out only during the holiday season. The Hershey's Mint Miniatures, and Hershey's Mint Truffle Kisses. They are limited edition, and I love them. My taste is not usually for chocolate, but these chocolates get me, and I get them.

I left the chocolate in a bag with some other stuff that my parents were going to bring back to their house. I stopped at their house after the month-long camp I was working at was over and.... they had eaten the chocolate. All of it. Like 4 bags. At least 200 pieces. I was sad. And honestly, I was mad for a minute or two. Any chocolate will do for them. I had brought half a bag of the Hershey's Mint Truffles with me to Korea, and almost every day, along with my 10-25 piece of hard candy dosage, I would have one chocolate. Of course I wanted more (I wanted them all), but I knew I had to conserve until I returned to my chocolate stash in New York.

This year, things will be different. My parents know better than to eat my candy, and I am buying surplus.
